Just coming up to end of 2nd season on Blue Square South - 4 more games to go

Team is well on track to a respectable to half of table finish (we are sitting in 7th) with an outside chance of making playoffs if we win most of our last few games and other teams lose theirs.
We have exceeded board and fans expectations for the last two seasons in all areas except finances (it cost a lot of money to get rid of the boat-anchor of a player/coach and home game attendances were very poor in the first season).
My alter ego's contract is up at the end of this season, there has been a media article that has stated that the Maidenhead board are worried that I may leave the club and are looking at alternate

Then another media article links my alter ego to be contender for the Boston Utd job. I take a quick look and while Boston is 2nd in Blue Square North and have much better facilities, they appear to be in debt and have morale issues. Wikipedia indicates that the club has a less than virtueous history (club went into administration for failing to pay HMRC, Chairman and some of the board members were charged with fraud) and while I have not been to Maidenshead or Boston, I get the impression from the Wikipedia articles on each of the towns, that my alter ego would probably prefer raising his young family in Maidenshead over moving them to Boston (please enlighten me if I am wrong). So I guess what is keeping me at my club is the realisation that the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence (well when the other side of the fence is Boston anyway).
I quickly responded by putting a board request for a new contract, to which the board has responded that they are putting together an offer and will get back to me . . .

suggest that SI needs to add a feature to allow human managers to set their General Happiness as "Slightly unhappy / unhappy due to uncertainity about future at club" so that Chairman can do a media release to saying that he is "Pleased at [Human Manager's] management form" and "Will do his utmost to re-sign him"
Update - one game to go and the Chairman offers me a new two year contract on the same money. I negotiate it out to three years, which they accept
so I guess it is also the new contract and that my club is not all that terrible
