After Carlos Tevez announced he was excited by the interest of Arsenal and stating he would love to be the replacement for Thierry Henry i must say myself i was excited by the prospect of such a good talented player playing for Arsenal FC. Knowing Tevez didn't have the best of games at West Ham and his lengthy adaptation to the english game or England it self, still didn't waver me too much due to the sheer fact of Arsenal's style of play and it still being in London. Me myself, i would love to see Tevez play for the red and white as im confident he would apply himself as a top quality player and Arsenal would help him do that.

What are everybody else's thoughts on Tevez to Arsenal??

Tevez is quality. Without doubt.

For the last 9 games of the season he was absolutely immense for us.

Although it seems inevitable that he will leave, I'll still be gutted if he does.

The single best signing we could make this summer is keeping him.

Just the same as keeping AW. They can buy whoever they want if he just decides to stay for another decade.
I think that Raymond Domenech is the worst coach in French football since Louis XVI - Eric Cantona

His quality's not in doubt but I'd be cautious about the whole matter of his ownership.

I think Wenger will go in for someone more experienced anyhow and then continue to groom Theo Walcott into Henry's long term replacement.

Same, I would love to see Carlitos in claret & blue next season, but I just doubt it'll happen, (although I think there's a small but not tiny chance it will)

looks like he know wants to play for inter.

Argentine international Tevez, 23, said: “There is a very good chance I will be playing in Italy next season.

“I am also wanted by Real Madrid and some other clubs in England but I have already made my decision and I prefer Inter.

"My agent knows how I feel and hopefully he can sort something out.”

Not that many...maybe only 16 clubs in Europe. I think this will end as a nice summer comedy and he will stay with you.

Arsenal signed my former team mate - Eduardo Da Silva.

We played together in Croatian U19 and U21 selections.

Brasilian born, but came to Zagreb when he was nearly 16. I can tell you this is the single best signing Wenger will make this summer.
Dudu has scored over 50 goals this season, that making him the best goal scorer of the world in season 06/07.

I wish i kept on playing football, maybe i'd be in a great team like Dudu today.

Don't want you getting your hopes up Mastermind mate, but Torres has signed for Liverpool for £26m.
We are just waiting for his return from holiday (Around 6th July) before it's official.

Where else could he go though.. i woulda loved him at arsenal but liverpool seemed to have totally jumped in, im quite shocked no other clubs have seemed to jump in for him as much as the reds have done.

Also you guys looking good on the youth ranks with those new signings.

The Premier League is gunna be one exciting league this coming season for a few clubs and fans =P

On his way to Old Trafford???

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...utd/6272664.stm

I wouldn't say no...that way we can get rid off injury-prone Saha.

Also i do remember him wearing a man utd shirt when attending a press conference at corinthians.

That was again a typical AW surprise, and hopefully it is another strong sign for his desire to stay many more years, if he is signing the hottest prospects again instead of well-known superstars. I only hope that his potential is a little bit higher then SI has given him so far, although he already is a fantastic player in the database.

Impressive that you played U21, too bad that you quit, I guess? We should talk about that in the tactical area. A friend of mine is (part-time) coach and always doubts the tactical value of FM or any other sim, so I would like to hear more about your opinion as an almost-pro.

Looks like this will happen soon... and looks like there is much fun and delight at Arsenal:

Quote
William Gallas has issued a thinly veiled attack on his Arsenal paymasters, with the French defender having been outspoken in his criticism of the club\'s buying and selling policy, along with what he perceives to be a lack of ambition.

Out of interest.....why not turn this into an official Arsenal thread.

We haven't got one at the moment, and there seems to at least be a couple of you out there!
