It is my sad duty to inform regular readers and contributors in the FM Britain Forums, that Steven John Fraser, known to everyone here as SFraser, tragically and suddenly died on Sunday July 3rd 2011, aged 27.
On behalf of the forum moderators and everyone at FMB, we would like to express our sincerest condolences to Steven's family.
Steven was a prolific and valued contributor to our forums, often providing superb and detailed guides, which no doubt have helped countless forum members enjoy Football Manager as much as we all know he did.

Thanks for the update, Richard. While I didn't always get along with the guy, there's no doubting that his enthusiasm for the game and a desire to see how it worked sparked a lot of necessary conversation both in public and behind the scenes.
Always a shame to hear news like this, especially when the person in question is so young. My thoughts are with his family.

Christ. I only spoke with him last month. Didn't know him that well but he always seemed like a nice enough lad.
Does anyone know what happened?

Oh my God. I'm shocked. I never knew him personally, but from all his posts I saw clearly they were made by a bright and good man.
My sincere condolences to the family.

Don't know if you ever got an answer to this question. I have only just today come across the thread on SI about his death.
But here is a news story (which family say isn't accurate) http://www.north-sta...ss-04072011.htm

Very sad news, I'm afraid I cannot find anything on his cause of death.
RIP Steven Fraser.
